Common questions

What fixings come with a mesh cage?

Every box comes with the fixings for a permanent siting on a concrete floor. Other floor fixings are available on request. For any other floor, tell us what it is and we will price the fixings with the order.

Should a mesh cage be grey or galvanised?

Grey (RAL 7037) is for indoors. Hot-dip galvanised is for outdoors, such as a gas bottle store in a yard. Same sizes and panels; galvanised costs more.

Can the depth of a mesh cage be changed later?

Yes. Every Maxi Box has the same 2,200mm front, and each extra 1,200mm of depth is two side panels and a roof panel. The shop sells whole boxes, so ask through the contact page for the panels to deepen one you already have.

How is delivery of a mesh cage worked out?

By the postcode area and the number of panels, from the supplier's delivery rates. Type a postcode at checkout to see it. A timed delivery adds £120.00. Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, the Western Isles, Shetland, London EC, W and WC, and orders of 200 panels or more are priced by hand before anything is charged.

Is fitting included with a mesh cage?

No, the boxes come supply only, as panels on pallets, so someone on site needs a forklift or pallet truck to unload them. Two people put up about 30 panels a day. Tick the box at checkout and we will send a fitting price separately.
